Section 08

Multi-Caregiver Sharing

BabyCare allows you to invite other caregivers (e.g., a partner, grandparent, or nanny) to share access to your baby's information. When you do this:

  • Your name and email become visible to the invited caregiver.
  • The baby information you have logged becomes accessible to the invited caregiver, and any data they log becomes accessible to you.
  • You are responsible for obtaining each invited caregiver's consent before sending the invitation.
  • Either party can revoke sharing at any time through the app's settings.

If you delete your account, baby information that you co-created with other caregivers may remain accessible to those caregivers, as they became co-users of the shared data upon accepting the invitation.

Section 09

Children's Privacy

BabyCare is designed for use by parents and legal guardians to track information about their own children. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under the age of 13 (or under the applicable age threshold in your jurisdiction — 14 in the Republic of Korea).

Information about a child entered into the Service is provided by you as the child's parent or legal guardian, and is treated as your information for purposes of consent and data subject rights.

If you become aware that a child has registered an account directly with us, please contact us at hanch@snowbengal.io and we will delete the account and any associated personal information promptly.

Section 10

Data Security

We implement administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your personal information, including:

  • TLS encryption for data in transit
  • Encryption of data at rest
  • Access controls and authentication
  • Internal management policies and regular reviews

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Section 11

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will provide notice through the app or other appropriate means at least 7 days before the changes take effect (or 30 days in advance for changes that materially affect your rights).
